CLEO 4 GTA supports various adaptations of San Andreas: 1.0, 1.01, 3.0 (Steam), however scripts and modules are not intended to be viable.
Running CLEO requires an introduced 'ASI loader' which is offered with delivery. ASI Loader needs to overwrite a unique game document: vorbisFile.dll - make sure to further strengthen this record. No additional documentation is provided, but records and moderators include:

Matching mode
CLEO is constantly being improved and accessed over a long period of time. Under very interesting circumstances, some of the content created for CLEO 3 may not work while using CLEO 4. However, since CLEO 4.3, you can enable 'hereditary mode' to match the content of CLEO 3 by renaming it. .cs3. CLEO 4.3 will typically stack .cs and scripts and load .cs3 scripts into CLEO 3 matching mode, with some minor modifications to the CLEO library to better match this content. However, most CLEO 3 content will work without the need for matching mode set as CLEO 4.3, as well as distinguishing specific CLEO 3 modes. Specifically, scripts that use the information stored in these installations after calling for SCM work.
